Coxing at North Berwick

At North Berwick Rowing Club we require that every outing has on the boat a member who is a Competent Cox. That need not be the person holding the tiller, who may well be a novice cox. In fact some people have no desire to be anything other than a novice cox, which is absolutely fine!

The definition of what it means to be a Competent Cox at NBRC is here.

We would like to encourage all members to have a go at coxing (even if they stay as a novice cox), and do need to develop Competent Coxes so that we are not too dependant on a small group of people.

The Members Directory shows who is currently a Competent Cox. To have your status changed please contact the club Convenor, or drop an email to committee@nbrowingclub.com
